Should have included the model number as requested. It is a Compaq
Presario model SR1620nx.
The ram was bought from one of our local computer supply stores here in
Calgary; Alberta; Canada.

We're using Kaspersky v 6.0 and haven't changed anything on the server.
I've been running virus/trojan checks but so far nothing..
the server is just used as a file server- no active dir ...

The subnet's 10.0.1.x and 10.0.2.x are not used in the moment or are there

I forgot to mention that there is a two way trust relationship between this
domain and a W2K3 domain - created manually after both domains were up for
awhile.
