Hi,
I have a remote site (with 4 workstation) connected over a VPN WAN
(site-to-site VPN) to my corporate Head Office. All the Domain controllers
are located in the Head-Office. Suddenly my workstation in the remote site
are experiencing difficulties for longing into the domain (login takes a long
time) and access network resources. I have connectivity with the domain
controller because I can ping them and also resolve their name through DNS.

I can not find any error\warning events on the Domain Controller but on my
the workstations I get the following warning\error messages:

Any errors if using nslookup to check the DNS status?

I finally solved the problem:

netdiag.exe showed that I was having difficulties communicating with the
Domain Controllers using LDAP. Furher research showd that this was being
caused by a mismatch in MTU size between the two ends of the VPN tunnel. I
was able to solve the problem by applying the hotfix KB898060 to my windows
server 2003 R2 . Running netdiag on my XP clients after the apllication of
the hotfix on the servers confirmed that the problem has been resolved.
