I replaced the disk drives in my PC, copying Vista over to the new
setup. Vista flagged itself as needing re-activation. Okey-doke, I
called the number and MS re-activated me. Windows now shows activated,
and validates properly at the WGA side.

But the application log registers event ID 1024 ("The hardware has
changed") and then Event ID 1025 "Grace Period has been started Grace
days=3 Grace type=4").

WTF? This happens every few minutes, even when the PC is just sitting
there. Vista still shows as activated - and this has been going on for
longer than 3 days now.

But it's *really* annoying.
