Hello Kashif,

What OS and SP's patches are installed?
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/920162

Do you have listed the domain internal DNS servers on the root hints list
or Forwarders tab?

Windows 2003 Standard Server - R2 - I have Service Pack 2 installed.
My Active Directory Integrated DSN server Domain name is same as External
Domain.

Forwarder Tab, I have ISP DNS server IP's.
I never change Root Hints meaning it is all default out of the box.
Dynamic Updates are Secue Only.
I have 2 Name Servers DC1.MyDomain.com and DC2.MyDomain.com.
I don't have this problem on DC2.
DC2 is Standard but not R2 Service Pack 2.

Thanks for all your help!!

I have SP2 installed, Are you suggesting to install Hotfix? I looked at the
other Article for DNS Server Secure Cache Against Pollution. Do I need to do
anything? Article says, Win 2003 automatically take care of this.

I ran the command and got the following result:
C:\Program Files\Support Tools>Dnscmd /Info /SecureResponses
Query result:
Dword: 1 (00000001)
Command completed successfully.

I haven't installed hotfix yet. Should I install it ?
Thank you for all your HELP!!!!!

Hello Kashif,

If an error occurs and the hotfix exactly has the description about it, yes
it's made for that. Additional you should update the machine to the latest
patches after SP2.
